		<description><![CDATA[Steve Jackson, William Gibson, Emmanuel Goldstein, ect... helped make certain computer related hobbys become the victim of popular culture.

They&#039;re the reason why families bring their bratty kids to defcon... or scramble to buy t-shirts and memorabilia instead of actually talking about computers.

In that sense, they&#039;ve actually helped the government and corporate influence keep track of threats... while distantiating people with a real knack for computers.

The only people worth your pity would be Neidorf and Swartz. But Mitnick? Meh... I never liked all those AOL using hipsters who fallowed him like some cult leader.]]></description>
